I know the month is not over yet, but damnit there is some amazing music out there at the moment. Heres my current Top 10 (With accompanying download links for some).
1) All Saints - Chick Fit (Kissy Sell Out’s Bogus Journey)
Simply amazing… makes you want to dance no matter the mood your in. Unfortunatly I don’t have a download for you guys but a version with vocals is availible on Kissy Sell Out’s Myspace page Here
2) Yuksek - Little Dirty Trip (Vicarious Bliss Remix) [Download]
Monumental opener track to any mix. A little bit AC/DC, a little bit electro, a whole lot of bad ass vibe.
3) Kavinsky - Testarossa Autodrive (SebastiAn Remix) [Download - Thanks Chris!]
While the original was good it lacked a bassline and quite frankly, balls. Like always, SebastiAn delivers and brings some much attitude to this synth heavy groove.
4) Justice - Phantom (Faux Re-edit) [Download]
Amazing remix of Justice’s latest club powerhouse track. It includes parts of a movie score that inspired the song. Another song that you will hear played a billion times in clubs this summer.
5) DJ Mehdi - Signature (Thomas Bangalter Remix) [Download]
Everyone remembers the over-filtered french house of the late 90’s that came from artists like DJ Falcon, Alan Braxe, and Stardust. This remix is like a flashback to that time of greatness. Thomas Bangalter (One half of Daft Punk and someone responsible for many of those great french house tracks) delivers with a great dancefloor filling groove.
6) Justice - D.A.N.C.E [Download]
This track is going to be HUGE this summer. Unfortunatly the download is a low quality rip from BBC Radio. Take it as a preview… as you will be hearing ALOT more of this soon.
7) Cassius - Rock Number One (K. I. M. Remix) [Download]
Theres something amazing about Cassius. I can’t pin it down but it seems like every track I hear from them is damn quality. The original of this was the same way, but KIM takes to one notch higher with a great remix.
8) Teenager - Alone Again (Van She Tech Remix) [Download]
Already being featured in many DJ Mixes ive seen around the net this edit is set to explode this spring. Van She Tech seriously delivers here.
9) Kellis - Bossy (Alan Braxe and Fred Falke Remix) [Download]
Two of the most famous music names to come out of France give Kellis’s new track some house loving. Classy and sexy sound with memorable lyrics make this an instant classic and easily one of the duos best productions.
10) Greg Cerrone feat. Claudia Kennaugh - Pilling Me (Klaas Remix) [Download]
Gotta love the clever play on words in the chorus of this track. A solid remix thats sure to get you moving.
